THE RITUAL
A slow, sacred ritual from first flame to final touch. Follow each step to make the most of every candle.
For the first burn, allow one to two hours so the surface melts edge to edge. This prevents tunnelling and sets an even pool for the life of the candle.
Let the wax settle into a liquid pool, stabilising below 42°C / 107°F. The low melt point keeps the oil gentle and safe against skin.
Extinguish the wick, pour the warm oil into your palm, and work it slowly into the skin. Stay in the moment — alone, or with someone you love.
Keep the wick at about 5mm before each burn for a clean, steady flame and minimal soot.
Keep candles out of direct sun and heat to protect both scent and texture.
Let the pool reach the rim each time to avoid tunnelling and wasted wax.
Test the temperature. Check the warm oil on your inner wrist before applying — it should feel soothing, never hot.
Never leave unattended. Keep a burning candle in sight and away from children, pets, and anything flammable.
Patch test first. With sensitive skin, try the oil on a small area before a full application.
